In the audiovisual creative whirlwind I've found myself in (lol), technology has been my constant ally, and recently an increasingly powerful companion on my journey. Since the beginning of my career, I have always been attentive to technological developments in the area, trying to adapt and make good use of the new developments that were available. But the arrival of artificial intelligence is being a unique watershed, challenging me to completely rethink my technical and creative processes.

Simplifying Processes with AI in Audiovisual Production

AI-powered video creation tools, from online video editors to text-based video generators, are streamlining processes that used to consume endless hours and enormous teams, both in pre- and post-production. I'm not one of those who think that Artificial Intelligence will steal all the jobs in the future, but in my opinion this is not only positive: what used to take a week to do, now takes a day. What was once a draft has now become a final version! In a way it is a help, but it also puts more pressure on those who work and the level of demand only increases.

The AI Revolution in Professional Video Production

At first, I thought it might even be a fad, something only used in internet videos. However, every day the change proves to be real and inevitable for the professional market as well, with industry giants like Adobe embarking heavily on this journey. With the integration of AI into products like Premiere Pro and After Effects, the transformation of the professional creative process is now an undeniable reality. The next version of the software is expected to be released soon and the teasers already promise to shake up the video production market as a whole.

Exploring New Horizons with OpenAI's "Sora" Platform

There is an upcoming revolution that is also about to blossom, and that many have already heard about, which is the imminent launch of OpenAI's "Sora" platform. With its incredible photographic quality and ability to translate text into stunning videos “from scratch” (zero footage), the potential of this technology to take productions to new heights is enormous. We are on the cusp of an era where human creativity and artificial intelligence intertwine in ways never before imagined. I'm looking forward to testing it!
